R Michael Gross, M.D.
Dr. R. Michael Gross is the group’s original primary shoulder specialist. His current research has awarded him two patents which have impacted arthroscopic shoulder surgery for the unstable shoulder and the durability of a total shoulder replacement. Dr. Gross has had a number of publications, as well as many national presentations on his work. He has been the team physician for the Omaha Lancers and Daniel J. Gross High School for over 25 years. His practice focuses on all aspects of shoulder disorders.

Timothy C. Fitzgibbons, M.D
Timothy C. Fitzgibbons, M.D. trained at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Fitzgibbons is a nationally renowned foot and ankle specialist. He is a longtime clinical professor of orthopaedics at both the Creighton University Medical Center and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. For 20 years he has been responsible for the foot and ankle portion of the combined Creighton University/Nebraska Orthopaedic Residency Program. He has extensive national publications and presentations in his field of orthopedic foot and ankle problems. He has also cared for Creighton athletes for his entire 30 years of practice here in Omaha.

C. Michael Kelly, M.D.
Dr. Kelly attended medical school at Creighton University, followed by orthopaedic training at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio, and a fellowship in joint replacement at the Mayo Clinic. He specializes in knee and hip replacements and has performed more than 5,600 joint replacements. His special interest is partial knee replacement through a small incision. Jack A. McCarthy, M.D.
Dr. McCarthy remains committed to his patients with hand, elbow and shoulder problems. He combines his interest in basic science and clinical research with the day-to-day care of patients. Whether injured patients are athletes or workers, he attempts to utilize innovative techniques in conjunction with time-honored care plans.

T Kevin O’Malley, M.D.
Dr. O’Malley is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship following residency in Houston, Texas. He currently provides sports medicine coverage for several local high schools, and serves as a team physician for the Creighton University Men’s Soccer Team and Women’s Basketball Team. His main focus of interest is on knee injuries and knee arthritis. He is also involved in athletic medicine education, lecturing on not only the high school but undergraduate and graduate levels. Being the father of six daughters and a son, he has an acute interest in the injuries of female athletes.

Jeffrey J. Tiedeman, M.D.
Dr. Tiedeman is one of the few doctors in the area with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery. After residency, he completed an upper extremity fellowship at the University of Iowa and has additional training in microvascular reconstruction. The focus of his practice is the treatment of hand, elbow and shoulder disorders in patients of all ages.

Scott T. McMullen, M.D.
Dr. McMullen completed his foot and ankle fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. He enjoys working with problems ranging from adolescent athletic injuries to longstanding degenerative conditions of the foot and ankle. Dr. McMullen will take the time to help you understand your condition and decide upon an individualized treatment plan. Together with Drs. Fitzgibbons, Inda and Grier, he is a foot and ankle instructor for orthopaedic residents and medical students.

Erik T. Otterberg, M.D.
Dr. Otterberg graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center/Creighton Orthopaedic Foundation. He completed a fellowship in hip and knee replacement from Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Otterberg specializes in joint replacement with particular interests in complex deformities, revisions and new technologies. He is active in resident education at the Veteran’s Hospital, as well as in clinical research.

David J. Inda, M.D.
After completing his residency at the combined Creighton/Nebraska Orthopaedic Residency Program, Dr. David Inda spent a full year of his fellowship studying complex problems of the foot and ankle at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He is also a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, and on the faculty of the combined Creighton University/Nebraska Orthopaedic Residency Program.

Samuel P. Phillips, M.D.
Dr. Phillips’ practice focus is knee and hip replacement. Dr. Phillips provides advanced technologies and alternatives, especially for the younger arthritic patients. His experience includes minimally invasive surgery, hip resurfacing, knee arthroscopy, partial knee replacement and osteotomies of the knee. Dr. Phillips is originally from Canada and completed fellowships in knee and hip replacement in London, Ontario and Dallas, Texas.

Charles E. Rosipal, M.D.
Dr. Rosipal completed his fellowship under Drs. Charles A. Rockwood and Michael A. Wirth in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio. He, along with Dr. Gross, devotes the majority of his practice to problems of the shoulder and elbow.

Kathleen M. Grier, M.D.
After completing her orthopaedic residency training at the combined Creighton/ Nebraska Health Foundation Program, Dr. Grier received fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery, with emphasis on foot and ankle trauma and other complex problems involving the foot and ankle, at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, Florida. She also participates in a teaching role for the orthopaedic residency program.

Kimberly A. Turman, M.D.
Dr. Turman received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the Creighton/ Nebraska Health Foundation in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed further specialized training with a fellowship in sports medicine, arthroscopy and reconstructive surgery at the University of Virginia, where she was also an associate team physician for the University of Virginia and James Madison University athletic programs.

Daniel L. Gaffney, M.D.
Screen Shot 2014-09-29 at 2.35.02 PMDr. Gaffney’s focus is on conditions and injuries of the hand and upper extremity.  He completed medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine on a U.S. Air Force HPSP scholarship and his internship at Michigan State University.  After spending three years as a flight surgeon in the US Air Force, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency in Utah and additional fellowship training in hand and upper extremity at Wake Forest University.
